There are a couple of ways to find us and track our progress…

The first is our AIS tracker (Automatic Identification System). This system lets us see where ships around us are, their heading and speed. More importantly they can see us! and so can you with the following link (note this works over VHF so our position may not be updated when we’re offshore but see below): http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/235109409

 The second will be the Delorme inReach satellite tracker which works anywhere and is linked to a map. It will update our position every 10 min while we’re sailing and allow free text messaging (you can send us a message by clicking the link on the linked web page). This system enhances the emergency satellite beacon (EPIRB) that we carry should anything ever happen to the vessel.
